Welcome to the Miller Grove High School Media Center!
Our media center has a growing collection of over 16,000 books and print and electronic resources as well as computers, cutting edge technology such as iPads, and a comfortable environment, to make our media center one you can be proud.
The MGHS Library is an information hub for the school. Instruction and curricular support is offered to ensure our students are effective users and producers of ideas and information. We collaborate with teachers on instructional initiatives, teach information literacy skills in the context of the curriculum, and promote reading for information and pleasure.
Our policies are simple:
*If you visit us during the school day (8:10-3:10), you must have a pass signed by a teacher -This includes Lunchtime.
*Students may use computers in the media center for academic, curriculum-related purposes and must adhere to the DeKalb County Acceptable Use Policy.
*Students may borrow up to 5 print books at a time for a two-week period, and books may be renewed.
*Overdue books will accrue a fine of $.05/day.
*Students may use the media center printers for black/white (.10 per page) or color prints (.50 per page).
