Karen Roberts has been happily married for over 40 years. She is a passionate supporter of individuals with special needs. She worked as a paraprofessional with exceptional students for over two decades, as she raised her own family. Later, as her kids grew up and those responsibilities diminished, she made the decision to become a teacher. Through her career she has worked with all types of exceptionalities, and loves them all! Her first six years as a certified teacher, she served students who were Hospital/Homebound, which she also loved. She has a drive to help her students to become the best that they can individually be. Mrs. Roberts has been known to go far above and beyond the call of duty. She genuinely cares.

Mrs. Roberts is fully certified in all content areas. When she decided to become a teacher, she “put the pedal to the metal, “and tenaciously went after her educational goal. She earned back to back degrees, which also included a Masters of Education. She also has other unrelated certifications, as well.
