As the logical continuation of Spanish 1, Spanish 2 seeks to further challenge the motivated student to stretch his and her thinking even more. Instead of remaining in the raw basics of the first level of the World Language course, Spanish 2 builds upon this solid foundation of Spanish 1 by adding more difficult and challenging concepts, i. e., multiple tenses and more sophisticated vocabulary, as well as challenging cultural experiences. The highly motivated Spanish 2 student will use Spanish 2 as a logical stepping stone to Spanish 3 and beyond, including intermediate to advanced collegiate-level courses.
