About Señora Williams

¡Hola Clase! Once again, my name is Ms. Williams, but you all will call me Señora Williams.  I am originally from Panama which is a small country in Central America.  Have you ever heard of the Panama Canal or the infamous Noriega?  Well, that is where I am from.  I went to Morris College in South Carolina where I received my Bachelor's in Biology. I lived in Florida where I taught Life Science.  I also recently earned my Master's degree in Foreign Language Education from Valdosta State University.  I love sports, especially softball.  I enjoy dancing salsa, merengue, and bachata.  One of the most important things I enjoy doing is spending time with my family.

Spanish is not only my first language but I also have a passion for the language.  Most importantly, I love to share my culture and other cultures in the Spanish Speaking World.  I believe that learning a foreign is so essential in today's world. Studying a foreign language teaches and encourages respect for other people, it fosters an understanding of the interrelation of language and human nature. Learning a foreign language expand one's view of the world, liberalize one's experiences, and make one more flexible and tolerant. My goal for this year is to make this learning process as easy and as interesting as possible.  I know that learning a new language can be challenging, but I am challenging you because "Everything is possible when we work together" and I know you can do it!
